GoEats Refund & Cancellation Policy

At GoEats, we strive to provide the best food delivery experience. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Order was not delivered.

  • Wrong item was delivered.

  • Significant items were missing from the order.

  • Food quality issues supported with clear photos/videos and verified by our support team.

  • Customer was charged but the order was not successfully placed.

Refund Method

  • All approved refunds will be credited only to the customer's GoEats Wallet.

  • No refunds will be issued to bank accounts, UPI IDs, cards, or any external payment method.

  • Wallet refunds can be used for future orders on GoEats.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after the restaurant has accepted the order.

  • Personal taste preferences or food preferences.

  • Minor packaging issues that do not affect food quality.

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, restaurant rush hours, festivals, strikes, or circumstances beyond GoEats' control.

  • Incorrect delivery address or contact details provided by the customer.

  • Failure to receive the order due to the customer being unavailable or unreachable.

  • Orders successfully delivered as per the order details.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can only be cancelled before the restaurant starts preparing the food.

  • Once the restaurant begins preparing the order, cancellation may not be possible.

  • Cancellation approval is subject to restaurant and GoEats verification.

Refund Process

  • Customers must raise any refund-related concern within 2 hours of order delivery. Refund requests submitted after 2 hours may not be considered by GoEats.

  • GoEats may request photos, videos, or other supporting evidence for verification.

  • All refund requests are subject to review and approval by the GoEats support team.

  • Approved refunds will be credited to the GoEats Wallet within 24–48 hours.

Abuse & Fraud Protection

  • GoEats reserves the right to reject any refund request found to be fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or inconsistent with the order history.

  • Repeated misuse of refunds, promotions, discounts, or compensation claims may result in temporary suspension or permanent restriction of the account.
